Morning!
                                           Today is Monday May 27th.
 There is a Zoo trip all day. This trip includes the Grade Sevens and Eights. Don't forget your cameras!

Today Ms. Purvis is working on developing Cause and Effect essays. She will show you some online writing sites that help you develop your thesis and essay writing skills.
Essay Writing: 8P and 8T



Today students will continue their lessons on Cause and Effect Essays. Today's class will be devoted to writing a full rough draft of a Cause and Effect essay-the full 5 paragraph essay, including the Prewriting, the Introduction,Body Paragraphs and Conclusion. Students will be given the whole period to work on it and will be timed on each part to ensure they are effectively utilizing their time.
                                                         
Today is Wednesday May 29th,  2013.

Today there is a Quiz on Mechanics. We have been working on this unit for weeks, so ensure you are looking over all the necessary capitalization and punctuation marks so you are prepared for today's quiz. Good Luck!

              Some students in Grade Seven and Eight are involved in the softball tournament for the day. therefore, there will be a revised schedule for the day. Students remaining at school will have missed Spelling quizzes and begin working on the review units in their workbooks.
